Packaging Design Operations Coordinator, Mexico City
Collaborate with innovative 3Mers around the world
Looking for a Packaging Design Operations Coordinator you will have the opportunity to support creative and packaging artwork activities while collaborating with teams across the organization. You will work with our design teams to support the development and execution of branded packaging and other key consumer facing touchpoints to help drive best-in-class consumer experiences. You will collaborate with production art project managers, designers and agency partners to prepare packaging artwork files for print production.
The impact you will make in this role
Assisting with packaging artwork data entry updates and supporting the artwork process through final production art.
Helping ensure artwork data accuracy by reviewing files for alignment and basic content requirements.
Supporting creative and design teams with packaging production tasks as needed.
Gaining familiarity with packaging artwork components such as die lines, net contents, regulatory text, color usage, and printing considerations.
Collaborating with cross‑functional partners within 3M and with external agencies or production partners under direction from senior team members.
Contributing to problem‑solving discussions and supporting efforts to keep artwork aligned with brand standards.
Following established workflows, systems, and best practices to complete assigned tasks.
Learning new tools and processes as required.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
High school diploma/GED or higher, Certificado de Bachillerato/Certificado de Preparatoria (completed and verified prior to start).
Proficient in the English language.
Familiarity with consumer packaging or graphic design principles in a corporate, agency, or printing environment.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Basic understanding of packaging design or print production and familiarity with print and pre‑press processes such as offset, flexo, digital, or gravure.
Interest in consumer goods packaging.
Exposure to creative review tools or project‑related software.
Ability to manage high volumes, shifting priorities, and tight timelines.
Strong skills in communication, collaboration, time management and attention to detail.

Work Location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the Mexico City
Travel: May include up to 10%
