POSITION SUMMARY
The Patient Care Technician provides basic patient care and clinical support under the direction of nursing and other healthcare professionals. This position assists with patient needs, monitoring, comfort, and safety while contributing to a positive patient experience and supporting the overall operations of the care team.

Position Responsibilities
- Assist with basic patient care and activities of daily living.
- Obtain and document vital signs and other patient information as directed.
- Assist nurses and other clinical staff with patient care needs.
- Ability to preform lab draws and collect specimens as directed and within scope of practice
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment.
- Communicate patient needs or concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members.
- Follow established policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
- Previous healthcare or patient care experience preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Completion of an approved Patient Care Technician, Nursing Assistant, or related healthcare program preferred.
Skills & Certifications
- Current BLS/CPR certification required or ability to obtain.
- CNA or Patient Care Technician certification preferred, as applicable.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
