Hastings Deering is seeking a proactive and people-focused Health and Response Management Advisor to join our Health and Wellbeing team.
This frontline health role is responsible for providing first response support, injury management coordination, health promotion initiatives and wellbeing advice across the business. Working closely with employees, leaders and healthcare providers, you'll play a key role in supporting positive health outcomes and helping our people return to work safely and successfully.
As a Health and Response Management Advisor, you will:
Provide first response and advanced first aid support and advice across branches in Central and Far Noth Queensland.
Deliver early intervention and injury management support, including coordinating medical treatment and return-to-work activities.
Provide guidance and advice to employees and leaders on health, wellbeing and injury management matters.
Support the delivery of health and wellbeing initiatives, including health screenings, education sessions and awareness campaigns.
Assist with emergency management training activities, including first aid, manual handling and site emergency response exercises.
Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with company policies and legislative requirements.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to promote a proactive approach to workplace health and wellbeing.
Contribute to injury prevention, health promotion and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support the ongoing development and improvement of health systems, processes and documentation.

What you’ll need:
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Experience in a healthcare, occupational health, injury management or wellbeing-related role.
Qualifications in Nursing (EN or RN), Paramedic Science, Occupational Health, or a related health discipline.
Current Advanced First Aid and CPR certification.
Drug and Alcohol Testing certification (or a willingness to obtain).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with employees and leaders.
The ability to assess, triage and coordinate appropriate support for individuals presenting with physical or psychological health concerns.
A proactive, empathetic and customer-focused approach.
