Overview:

Sentara Health is currently seeking a Part Time, ALL Shifts, Courier based out of Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, VA.  Candidates must be available to work any shift as well as one weekend per month.

Picks up and delivers various items such as deposits, medications, equipment, supplies, x-ray films, lab specimens, letters, marketing materials and packages. Required to operate vehicle safely, keeps vehicle clean and well maintained; maintain vehicle safety logs and submit requests for vehicle maintenance/repairs in a timely manner. Tracks lab specimens, reports, supplies and all barcoded items.

Education

• High School diploma, or Equivalent

Certification/Licensure

• Driver License

• 1 year Courier experience in lieu of High School Education

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, located in Norfolk, VA, is a 525-bed tertiary care facility that is home to the only Level I Adult Trauma Center and burn trauma unit in Hampton Roads, and also serves as the primary teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School.
