As a PMO Intern/Trainee, you will immerse yourself in the dynamic world of tax services, focusing on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. You will assist clients in developing tax reporting strategies and maintaining compliance with tax regulations, analyzing financial data, interpreting tax laws, and providing guidance on tax reporting requirements to optimize tax positions and minimize risks for businesses. As an Intern, you will support teams and participate in projects, focusing on learning and gaining exposure to PwC practices. You will perform basic tasks and conduct research while observing professional work environments, contributing reliably to the team's success.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Mexico, you will have the chance to work on a variety of assignments, each presenting unique challenges and scope. Responsibilities
- Supporting tax teams in developing and implementing tax reporting strategies
- Assisting in the analysis of financial data to interpret tax laws and optimize tax positions
- Participating in the preparation and review of tax documents to validate compliance with regulations
- Engaging in tax research to provide guidance on tax reporting requirements
- Collaborating with team members to address client needs and deliver quality tax services
- Gathering information from various sources to analyze facts and discern patterns in tax data
- Applying professional and technical standards to uphold the firm's code of conduct
- Contributing to the preparation of financial statements and tax returns
- Observing and learning from experienced professionals to gain exposure to PwC practices
- Taking initiative to ask questions and seek feedback for continuous learning and development
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
