JOB DESCRIPTION
Seaport Hospice is seeking a dynamic Community Liaison to drive referral growth, increase census, and build strong relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, case managers, discharge planners, and other healthcare professionals. This healthcare sales role focuses on community outreach, hospice education, territory management, and developing new referral sources.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and other referral sources.
Promote hospice services through regular sales calls, networking, and community outreach.
Educate healthcare professionals, patients, and families on hospice care benefits and eligibility.
Generate referrals and achieve census growth goals within an assigned sales territory.
Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and referral partnerships.
Meet with patients and families to provide an overview of hospice services and obtain admission consents.
Represent the organization at healthcare events, community programs, and industry networking opportunities.
Maintain referral source activity and market intelligence to support business development efforts.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
Minimum 3 years of healthcare sales, business development, physician liaison, or hospice marketing experience preferred.
Proven ability to build referral relationships and drive patient census growth.
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Knowledge of hospice, home health, post-acute care, or healthcare services preferred.
