Responsibilities, include, but not limited to
- Remove snow safely and efficiently from commercial properties including but not limited to multi-family locations, parking lots, and the exteriors of high trafficked facilities by operating a Plow Truck.
- Oversee and supervise a team to clear roadways, loading areas, docks, parking lots, among others in winter conditions including snow, snow/rain mix, extreme weather and temperatures
- Supervise a team to create a safe pathway for the public, pedestrians, and traffic during snow season
- Report to assigned branch, or location within time frame given
- Be on call during the winter months for all snow and ice events
- May assist during a snow and ice event with by operating other snow or salt spreading equipment
- Ensures work is being conducted in a safe manner, and maintains work areas safe for the employee, the customer, public and the environment.
- Perform at a high and safe level of productivity
Requirements
- At least year experience supervising a team in snow site removal
- Valid Driver's License
- Pass driver's background check
- Pass pre-employment drug screen
- Able to work outdoors in different weather conditions
- Able to be on call 24/7 during winter season months
- Able to handle the physical demands of the position
- Be punctual and reliable
- Trainable, coachable, and able to grasp new concepts quickly
- Accountability to themselves and to their team
- Be someone others want to work with
