What's the opportunity?
RBC AI Group is building its Workplace Experience function to support the organization's growth and foster our culture. As a Workplace Experience Lead for our Vancouver office, you will play a key role in creating thoughtful and impactful in-office experiences that showcase the AI Group's culture and drive engagement.
In this role, you will manage the day-to-day workplace operations and experiences that foster a welcoming, well-maintained, and efficiently run workspace where team members can thrive. As member of the team, you will be joining a group that believes in being bold & curious, so we are looking for someone who is driven, eager to make an impact, and thinks outside the box!
Your responsibilities include:
- Foster the in-office employee experience by maintaining a welcoming environment and providing exceptional employee support;
- Coordinate and execute local team building events and activations, managing vendor relationships and event budgets;
- Order and manage office supplies and groceries to proactively anticipate office requirements;
- Maintain office facilities, including coordinating repairs and maintenance in a timely manner by submitting tickets or liaising with building management when issues arise;
- Support local execution of AI Group-wide initiatives, such as local employee onboarding, recruitment events, and hosted in-office ecosystem initiatives, partnering with AI Group Events & cross-functional teams, as needed.
- Draft and manage effective internal communications to drive effective flow of information across the team;
- Manage office tidiness and organization systems, ensuring a professional work environment;
- Identify and implement operational improvements to streamline office processes.
You're our ideal candidate if you have:
- Recent graduate in business administration, business management or relevant experience;
- 2-3 years relevant employee/customer support, office management, or event coordination experience;
- Keen interest in logistics, event coordination, office management, and administration;
- Comfortable managing vendor relationships and budgets;
- Strong interpersonal relationship skills;
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately with minimal supervision;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
