Springview Montessori Academy is looking for a loving, dependable, energetic, and experienced Toddler Teacher to join our team!

Responsibilities
- Create a warm, safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
- Provide attentive and responsive care to toddlers throughout the day
- Implement age-appropriate learning activities and classroom experiences
- Support children's language, social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Follow the classroom's daily schedule and routines
- Assist with diapering, toileting, meals, naps, and other daily care needs
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, organized, and inviting classroom
- Supervise children closely and maintain accurate classroom counts
- Communicate professionally and positively with families
- Document children's activities and classroom experiences
- Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and school leadership
- Follow all school policies, licensing requirements, and health and safety procedures
- Bring patience, positivity, professionalism, and consistency to the classroom every day
Montessori experience is a plus, but we are also open to experienced early childhood educators who are interested in learning and growing within a Montessori-inspired environment.

Job Description
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with toddlers in a preschool or childcare setting preferred
- Florida DCF 45-hour training completed or actively in progress
- CDA or Florida Staff Credential preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood development and age-appropriate practices
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, professional, and able to work as part of a team
- Must be comfortable with all aspects of toddler care, including diapering and toileting
- Must meet all Florida childcare licensing and background screening requirements
Montessori experience is a plus, but we are also open to experienced early childhood educators who are interested in learning and growing within a Montessori-inspired environment.
