We are seeking a Manager, Pipeline Integrity Advancements to own the development and continuous improvement of pipeline integrity programs that are critical to maintaining the safety, reliability, and compliance of our pipeline assets. The role also ensures regulatory compliance and advances safety in our Canadian and U.S. gas distribution operations.

You will be responsible for crafting and ongoing improvement of programs dedicated to maintaining integrity in this role. The focus includes establishing and maturing Enbridge Gas's Geohazard Management Program. You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, align standards and practices across jurisdictions, and advance integrity governance through collaboration and program leadership.

What You Will Do:

  • Coordinate the development, implementation, and ongoing maturation of Enbridge Gas's Geohazard Management Program across the local distribution companies, including governance, standards, prioritization, and mitigation strategies.

  • Advance pipeline integrity programs by identifying emerging threats, evaluating industry best practices, and implementing risk-informed solutions to enhance asset safety and reliability — while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards.

  • Drive the alignment and standardization of integrity management practices, standards, and governance frameworks across Canadian and U.S. programs, and lead cross-functional integration initiatives to support a consistent approach to pipeline integrity program execution.

  • Lead all aspects of continuous improvement processes by incorporating lessons learned, root cause analysis, and performance insights. Assist with governance, deployment, and continuous updates of the Integrity Management System. Maintain alignment between integrity programs and operational controls.

  • Lead and develop a team of integrity professionals, providing strategic direction, coaching, and performance leadership while fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.

  • 8+ years of experience in pipeline integrity, risk management, engineering, or equivalent.

  • Registered member with PEO as P. Eng in the Province of Ontario. If in the US, preference is to have a PE.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing technical teams and complex programs.

  • Solid understanding of integrity management concepts, risk evaluation techniques, and relevant regulatory standards.

  • Excellent communication, collaborator management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Master's degree or MBA or equivalent experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to:

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.

Working Conditions:

  • Predominantly office-based environment with frequent virtual collaboration across multiple locations in Canada and the United States. Ability to travel throughout Canada and United States. Valid passport is required.

  • Occasional support outside normal business hours for critical issues, regulatory matters, or significant integrity events.

Salary:

  • Ranges from $140,000 – $175,000 USD for US locations based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity.

  • Ranges from $150,000 – $180,000 CAD for Canadian locations (except Alberta) based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity.

  • Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
