What is the role?
The Manager, Client Services is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing and directing the strategic account management function. This role is crucial in maintaining and expanding our client relationships, ensuring the delivery of exceptional advertising solutions, and driving the overall growth of the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in Agency Holding Company Relationships & programmatic executions with proven expertise in managing large-scale operations within the advertising media sector. Being a Manager on the Client Services team at Roku requires a unique blend of both hands-on knowledge at the individual contributor level as well as management and leadership experience.
For New York Only - The estimated annual total cash for this position is between $149,300 - $177,600. This cash range includes on-target earnings from commission. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.

What are the responsibilities of the role?
- Serve as the primary executive contact for key clients, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships
- Oversee the delivery of tailored advertising solutions that meet client objectives and exceed expectations
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess performance, identify opportunities, and address any issues
- Lead a team goaled and focused on driving incremental, upselling & revenue retention
- Oversee the operational aspects of account management, ensuring efficient processes, resource allocation, and compliance with industry standards
- Identify areas of improvement to internal processes to enhance operational efficiency and customer service
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Sales Planning, AdOps, Inventory, Product, Marketing, and Ad Measurement) as necessary to improve processes with the overarching goal of driving revenue
- Adapt to change in a fast-paced environment and communicate information effectively to the respective team
- Oversee the daily operations and professional growth of 5-7 direct reports, ensuring alignment with team goals while providing regular coaching and actionable feedback to foster individual career progression
What experience would help someone be successful in this role at Roku?
- 8-10 years of consultative experience in account management/client services at an Adtech company or media company
- At least 3 years of management experience and developing teams with roles progressing in responsibility
- Extensive experience and expertise in programmatic advertising, including knowledge of DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, and ad exchanges
- Knowledge of the Roku platform and ecosystem
- Proven track record of managing large-scale operations and delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team
- Ambition to develop and nurture the development of others' career growth
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external senior stakeholders, executive teams, and industry groups
