A littile about what we're looking for
We are looking for a reliable and dedicated team player who is willing to work a full-time (32 hrs a week/4 shifts) NOC schedule with rotating weekends. This is a position within our Skilled Department at a 24/7 community.
The schedule consists of four 8.5-hour shifts per week, with rotating weekend coverage. Please note that all full-time employees are required to work holidays as scheduled.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, flexible, and committed to providing excellent care and support to our residents.

Position Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for promoting the dignity, independence, self-determination, privacy, choice, and rights of the residents at the community. This role involves assisting residents with activities of daily living, medication reminders, and social and spiritual pursuits. This position will render personal care to residents and monitor their physical and cognitive wellbeing.
Essential Functions, Key Duties, & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including but not limited to; bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and medication reminders in accordance with care plans and established community policies and procedures.
- Assist residents with lifting, turning, transferring, positioning, and transporting into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.
- Assist with dining room services at assigned mealtimes, including set-up, clean-up, meal tray delivery, feeding assistance, and documentation of meal intake.
- Monitor the residents’ physical and cognitive wellbeing and report changes to the nurse and supervisor.
- Deliver nutritional supplements to residents at assigned times and provide resident assistance as needed to ensure intake. Document intake per community policy/procedure.
- Participate in life enrichment programming and providing meaningful activities to residents.
- Document resident care timely and accurately.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and procedures and any updates.
Position Requirements
Education: High School Diploma/GED
Licenses/Certifications: Certified Nursing Certification may be required depending on state regulations
Experience: 1+ years of paid or volunteer experience working with seniors preferred
Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to demonstrate patience and compassion in working with the elderly.
