The Staff AI Enablement & Transformation Engineer role at Micron is an outstanding opportunity to drive innovation and change within our Finance organization. You will be at the forefront of integrating AI-powered solutions, encouraging workforce capabilities, and producing quantifiable business results through automation and AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Finance AI transformation and adoption initiatives aligned with Finance modernization and business objectives.
Develop and complete AI enablement strategies that boost efficiency, decision-making, and business outcomes across Finance.
Partner with Finance leaders to identify, prioritize, and scale high-impact AI use cases and transformation opportunities.
Promote the use of Claude, Claude Code, Microsoft Copilot, and other authorized enterprise AI platforms.
Compose, build, test, and deploy AI solutions including AI agents, Claude Skills, Copilot Agents, timely libraries, and workflow automations.
Build reusable AI assets, accelerators, templates, and best-practice playbooks that can be used across Finance organizations.
Build and deliver AI learning programs, workshops, boot camps, office hours, and certification pathways.
Train and mentor employees on timely engineering, AI-assisted work, workflow automation, AI agents, and emerging AI technologies.
Lead Finance citizen developer initiatives, AI champion networks, hackathons, innovation challenges, and communities of practice.
Develop and publish Finance AI newsletters highlighting new AI capabilities, use cases, success stories, and learning opportunities.
Track and communicate AI adoption, engagement, proficiency, and business value through dashboards and executive reporting.
Assess productivity increases, time saved, process optimizations, and business benefits delivered through AI initiatives.
Ensure AI solutions align with enterprise governance, security, privacy, compliance, and Responsible AI standards.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in AI Enablement, Finance Transformation, Digital Transformation, Organizational Change Management, or Workforce Capability Development.
Experience leading enterprise technology adoption programs and driving organizational change.
Strong analytical, reporting, and data visualization skills.
Practical experience working directly with comprehensive AI frameworks including Claude, Claude Code, Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, OpenAI, AWS AI Services, or similar technologies.
Experience developing and implementing intelligent agents, Claude Skills, Copilot Agents, AI assistants, or agentic workflow solutions.
Experience with timely engineering, workflow automation, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), MCP integrations, and AI orchestration.
Experience managing citizen developer programs, hackathons, communities of practice, or innovation initiatives.
Excellent communication, facilitation, collaborator management, and executive presentation skills.
Proven ability to influence and collaborate across business and technology organizations.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Finance, Procurement, Shared Services, Treasury, Tax, Accounting, FP&A, or Operations Finance organizations.
Knowledge of Finance processes including Source-to-Pay (S2P), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Accounts Payable, Treasury, Tax, Record-to-Report (R2R), and FP&A.
Experience with SAP, Power Platform, Power Automate, UiPath, Process Mining, ServiceNow, or similar enterprise platforms.
Experience crafting AI training initiatives, enablement strategies, and workforce capability frameworks.
Familiarity with change management methodologies such as ADKAR, Prosci, Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile.
Strong understanding of Responsible AI, AI governance, and risk management practices.
The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$97,000.00 - $220,000.00 a yearAdditional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
