Job Description
- Primarily provides on-site supervision of concession operations during leagues, tournaments, special events, and other assigned activities.
- Directly supervises and provides leadership to up to 12 seasonal concession staff members at a time, assigning responsibilities and ensuring adequate coverage throughout the event.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for concession staff during assigned shifts and communicates operational needs or concerns to the Concessions Coordinator, Assistant Manager, or Manager.
- Ensures concession operations are opened, operated, stocked, and closed properly while directing staff and maintaining customer service, cleanliness, food preparation, and cash-handling standards.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe concession environment, including concession stands, storage areas, equipment, and surrounding service areas.
- Monitors product levels throughout events and assists with stocking and replenishment to meet patron demand.
- Assists with receiving, handling, storage, and organization of concession products and supplies.
- Ensures proper food preparation, presentation, portion control, and product quality.
- Monitors cash handling procedures and assists with accurate cash accountability, register operations, and end-of-shift reconciliation.
- Provides excellent customer service and addresses routine patron questions, concerns, or service issues in a professional manner.
- Assists with training seasonal concession staff and reinforces proper operating procedures and expectations.
- Communicates staffing, inventory, equipment, customer service, and operational concerns to management in a timely manner.
- Assists management with maintaining consistent concession standards across assigned facilities and events.
- Required to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of food service experience.
- 1 year of staff supervision or leadership experience.
- 1 year of cash handling experience.
- Knowledge of food preparation, inventory, equipment, and food safety.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak event periods as needed.
- Must meet JCPRD background and reference screening requirements.
