Job Summary
Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services has a need for a Lead Plumber. This position will be responsible for the prompt performance of assigned plumbing and related duties by Plumbers including installation of pipes, sinks, traps, washbowls, toilet fittings, drains, special laboratory sinks and drain tables. Repairs and maintains valves, faucets, traps, sinks and vents. Ensure quality workmanship and high work standards always conform to the published plumbing codes. Maintain the quality and quantity of his/her work up to acceptable Company standards and in accordance with established policies Lead Journeyman Plumberss and assign task/work. The work schedule is Monday - Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm
This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for pipe systems for water, steam, waste, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Respond to tenant requests for repaid of toilet/restroom facilities, cleaning of stopped drains and sewer lines requiring the use of motorized equipment
- Repair and installation of all plumbing related equipment Service and maintain grease traps. Service oil/gas separators
- Responsible for the Leading of Completion of all PM and record keeping assigned to his/her areas of responsibility
- As a Lead Submit as required plumber’s reports for all work done
- Responding to tenant requests for repair of toilet/restroom facilities, cleaning of stopped drains and sewer lines requiring the use of motorized equipment
- Respond to emergencies at any time
Qualifications
- Must have current Backflow Preventer Certification
- Three to six years of direct backflow preventer experience
- Must possess a Master Plumbers License
- Skilled use of wrenches, pipe cutting and threading tools, metal saws and other similar tools of the trade.
- Proven in-depth knowledge of related building codes, regulations and ordinances
- Proven ability to effectively read, interpret and work from plans and drawings
- Must have or be able to obtain an HSPD12 Clearance
