## Your Responsibilities
John Deere Coffeyville Works (JDCW) is seeking highly motivated engineering students to join our team as Engineering Interns. This internship provides hands-on experience solving real-world engineering challenges while working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative manufacturing and product development environment.
Interns will contribute to projects that support product innovation, manufacturing excellence, quality improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives. Based on business needs, educational background, and individual interests, interns may be placed in one of the following engineering disciplines:
- Assembly Manufacturing Engineering
- Machining Manufacturing Engineering
- Drivetrain Controls Engineering
- Drivetrain Design Engineering
## What Skills You Need
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in:
- * Mechanical Engineering
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Agricultural Engineering
- Mechatronics Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Or a related engineering discipline
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale.
- Graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorship.
## What Makes You Stand Out
- Previous internship, co-op, manufacturing, or project experience.
- Experience with 3D modeling software, programming, PLCs, automation, or data analysis tools.
- Participation in engineering clubs, design competitions, robotics teams, or student organizations.
- Demonstrated leadership through academic, work, or extracurricular activities.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, or Six Sigma principles.
