Acutronic is looking for an Electrical Engineer Intern to join our team in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will support the design, testing, and development of Electro-Mechanical actuation systems. This internship will provide you with valuable practical experience and exposure to real-world engineering challenges, working alongside experienced professionals.

Electrical Engineer Intern

Your Roles/Responsibilities:

Assist in the design and analysis of electrical systems for Electro-Mechanical actuators
Support the development of control circuits and systems, including power distribution and signal processing
Participate in the testing and validation of actuator prototypes and components
Troubleshoot system-level issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical and mechanical components
Document design processes, test results, and engineering reports

Your Profile/Qualifications/Skills:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field with at least two years completed at an accredited college or university
Strong academic performance, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in engineering courses
Basic understanding of circuit design, control systems, and electrical principles
Excellent computer skills
Strong critical thinking skills
Ability to work on own initiative as well as participate as part of a team
Multi-tasking ability
Keen attention to detail
