Description

Overview

A lovely family in the Upper West Side is seeking a warm, energetic nanny for their son, a little over a year old, with a second baby due in April. Mom is currently home full time as his sole caregiver and is looking for someone to join as soon as possible. This is a wonderful opportunity for a nanny who wants to be a true partner in a young child's daily life and grow with the family as they welcome their new baby. The family is looking for a nanny who will genuinely bond with their son. The ideal candidate is playful and hands on and takes initiative throughout the day, cooking for the child, tidying up after activities, planning outings, and other activities.

The hours are approximately 45 to 50 per week, increasing toward 50 once the new baby arrives in April. The family travels periodically; the nanny would typically remain home during trips, though flexibility to travel on occasion is a plus. There are no pets in the home.
