Onsite – Baguio City, PHAs Materials and Process Engineer I, you will be responsible for:
Executing tactical assignments through performing materials and processing analyses while working collaboratively in the overall engineering responsibilities of Materials and Process Engineering (M&PE).
Providing M&PE technical participation in internal and global teams
Performing complex engineering tasks as instructed, demonstrates engineering/scientific knowledge and logic, and communicates options to senior engineering staff to determine next steps.
Providing M&PE support for long-term, multi-site projects under the guidance and direction of senior engineering staff. Propose and recommend process equipment solutions for operating groups.
Minimum Requirement
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Materials Science
Experience:
3 years work experience in the field of specialization preferably on heat treatment of steel, carburizing, mechanical testing, and metallography.
Able to conduct metallographic examinations and interpret microstructure.
Knowledgeable on mechanical properties and tests such as hardness test, microhardness test, tensile test, and impact test.
Technically adept on the interplay of metal composition, microstructure, heat treat processes, and properties of materials.
Possesses effective interpersonal and communication skills and able to prepare good technical reports.
