Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Import/Export Coordinator who can contribute quickly through current hands-on SAP experience, strong International Trade knowledge, and a confident understanding of Incoterms. This role supports effective service delivery by working closely with internal teams including Operations, Finance, Procurement, Quality, Warehouse and Transport. The department manages import/export activities across more than 80 countries, with each team member typically responsible for a portfolio of countries. This opportunity is available on a one year fixed term contract.
Key Responsibilities
Understand and respond to the requirements of internal and external stakeholders
Process orders across different supply models and customer categories, using tools such as Rapid Response, SAP, delivery calendars and service-level agreements
Manage consignment stock activities, including supplies, sales report review, inventory adjustments and FEFO standards
Manage letters of credit and documentary collections in line with relevant process and compliance requirements
Support tender-related order requirements by meeting specified conditions and deadlines
Oversee shipments in line with international trade regulations, customs requirements, taxes, thresholds and restrictions
Coordinate transport and order preparation with Ipsen sites, logistics partners and service providers
Prepare and issue commercial documentation
Handle import/export operations in complex international scenarios, applying relevant process and compliance requirements
Qualifications
Established experience in import/export, logistics or international trade, ideally within a complex international environment
Strong understanding of International Trade and Incoterms, with the ability to apply these requirements in import/export and logistics operations
Current hands-on advanced SAP experience, including data extraction, testing and issue resolution, is essential
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple internal and external stakeholders
Language: English, for business and operational communication
