Position: Senior Product Designer – Content Platforms
Location: Fully Remote
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Time Zone Alignment: Central Time (CT) / Eastern Time (EST)
🧭 About Content Platforms Team
Our Content Platforms Team powers critical web infrastructure and user-facing content delivery across a high-scale global platform serving over 200 million monthly visitors. We build scalable, enterprise-level digital solutions that unify visual identities, optimize workflow efficiency, and deliver seamless end-user experiences at global scale.
🚀 Project Overview
You will join a high-impact product design team responsible for driving enterprise Content Management System (CMS) interface design, execution, and evolution. In this role, you will lead large-scale UI rebranding initiatives, establish visual standards across core web properties, and run data-backed A/B testing experiments to continuously optimize user engagement and web performance.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
- Rebranding & Design System Alignment: Lead design efforts for large-scale rebranding initiatives, enforcing UI consistency, accessibility, and visual standards across core web properties and product interfaces.
- Enterprise Content Platform Design (UCMS): Collaborate with engineering and content operations teams to design, optimize, and maintain user interfaces within Enterprise CMS platforms.
- Prototyping & Wireframing: Translate complex business and technical requirements into intuitive user journeys using sketches, wireframes, detailed process flows, and interactive prototypes.
- Data-Driven Design & Experimentation: Partner with product teams to design and support A/B testing and multivariate experimentation frameworks, using analytics to validate design choices.
- User Research Integration: Incorporate usability testing, user feedback, and qualitative research insights throughout the iterative design process to keep the end-user experience central.
- Information Architecture & Workflow Optimization: Map out complex information architecture, user flows, and operational processes across end-to-end product experiences.
- Web Performance & Front-End Coordination: Monitor and optimize front-end web performance impacted by design components, content management systems, and active experimental deployments.
💡 Must-Have Skills
- Experience Level & Education: Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Graphic Design, Information Design, or related behavioral science field, paired with 3+ years of professional product UX/UI design experience.
- Design & Prototyping Tooling: Deep hands-on experience using modern interaction design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Cursor.
- CMS Infrastructure Experience: Proven track record designing for or working within Content Management System (CMS) architectures and web publishing infrastructure.
- Design Portfolio: Comprehensive design portfolio demonstrating modern UI design, end-to-end interaction patterns, and user-centered solutions.
- Interaction Design & Rebranding: Strong background in interaction design, visual systems, and managing large-scale UI rebranding/redesign initiatives across complex cross-functional teams.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage multi-team design projects involving product managers, front-end engineers, and marketing stakeholders.
✨ Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experimentation Frameworks: Solid understanding of A/B testing methodologies, experimentation setups, and data-backed design optimization.
- Technical & Front-End Literacy: Familiarity with modern web development practices, front-end implementation constraints, and web performance optimization.
- User Research Methods: Direct experience running qualitative user interviews, usability testing, and synthetic user research synthesis.
🌐 Time Zone & Collaboration
The role requires collaboration with distributed teams aligned to Central Time (CT) and Eastern Time (EST). Flexibility to overlap with North American business hours is required in this remote-first setup.
💬 Language
All documentation, cross-functional meetings, and daily communication will be conducted in English.
