Description
Our client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented IT Operations Associate who is fluent in Mandarin and English to join its team in Dublin City Centre.
This role supports the day-to-day operation of IT systems used for clearing transactions, electronic payments and business settlements within an international banking environment.
Role: IT Operations Associate
Location: Dublin City Centre
Working Model: Fully onsite, five days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and support IT systems used for clearing transactions, electronic payments and settlements.
- Ensure the timely and accurate processing of inward and outward clearing transactions.
- Investigate and resolve daily system and operational issues relating to clearing services.
- Collaborate with front-office, compliance, IT and operations teams to maintain reliable transaction processing.
- Escalate system incidents, prepare incident reports and recommend corrective actions and process improvements.
- Maintain and update IT operations procedures and manuals in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Review, test and implement contingency procedures for clearing systems.
- Support the implementation and testing of new systems, products and services.
- Participate in business continuity planning and disaster-recovery exercises.
- Assist with system upgrades, enhancements, testing and ongoing operational improvements.
- Monitor service performance and ensure issues are documented, tracked and resolved promptly.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in IT operations, banking, financial services, payments or transaction-processing systems is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organised, proactive and detail-oriented.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in spoken and written Mandarin and English is essential.
- Strong communication, documentation and report-writing skills.
- Willing and able to work fully onsite in Dublin City Centre, five days per week.
