We're looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative professional to join our team as a Provider File Analyst.
Reporting to the Team Leader, Provider Affairs, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of provider records, assessing provider eligibility, supporting provider onboarding activities, and responding to provider-related inquiries.
Your work will help ensure our provider information remains current, accurate, and aligned with business and regulatory requirements while supporting a positive experience for providers and internal stakeholders alike.

As a Provider File Analyst, you will play an important role in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our provider database. You will work closely with healthcare providers, professional associations, colleges, and internal teams to ensure provider information is current, accurate, and aligned with established eligibility criteria.
You thrive in a detail-oriented environment and enjoy balancing administrative tasks, analysis, and customer service. You are comfortable managing multiple priorities, researching and resolving issues, and working both independently and collaboratively to support operational excellence.
As well, you will:
Register and maintain provider records by applying established provider eligibility criteria and business processes;
Review, validate, and update provider information to ensure data accuracy and completeness within established service standards;
Manage provider file exceptions and investigate issues requiring research, analysis, and resolution;
Maintain provider, association, and college documentation, ensuring records remain organized, complete, and current;
Prepare provider correspondence related to provider status, approvals, documentation requirements, and provider onboarding materials;
Respond to inquiries from providers, associations, colleges, and internal stakeholders in a timely and professional manner;
Compile, analyze, and maintain reports to support operational activities and decision-making;
Collaborate with Claims, Inquiry, Audit, and other internal teams to resolve provider-related issues and ensure a positive customer experience;
Apply provincial regulations, business rules, and established procedures when assessing provider eligibility and maintaining provider records;
Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, and improve data quality.
What you need to succeed:
Post-secondary education in a related field;
A minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative, analytical, customer service, or data management role;
Attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills;
Ability to prioritize competing priorities with demanding turn-around times;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word;
Knowledge of health care providers, professional associations, licensing bodies, or provider credentialing processes would be considered an asset;
Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset.

40,254 - 45,285 CADThe Base Pay range may vary depending on the successful candidate or other relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and education/training. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Medavie employees may participate in various performance-based incentive programs. Payments under these programs are discretionary and subject to both individual and organizational results.
