Target Range:
$165,000.00 /Yr. - $185,000.00 /Yr.Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 15%Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 15%These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

Axos was born digital, providing consumer banking services without any brick-and-mortar locations and has continued evolving since. The Axos consumer product team drives the vision and roadmap for this evolution and is adding an FVP, Product Management - Borrow (Mortgages, Lines of Credit, Unsecured, etc.) to the team.This individual will be responsible for owning the end-to-end Borrow experience roadmap (Loan management, Payments, Notifications, Cross-Sell, etc.) within the Axos digital ecosystem. In this senior role, this individual will be expected to define and execute upon a product vision that delivers products and services that our customers love while serving our business. This individual will be responsible for achieving product-market fit and will be accountable for all OKR in their product area. This role will report to the SVP, Head of Consumer Product and will be regularly presenting strategy, status, and KPI to executive leadership.
Responsibilities:
Product Strategy: Product Vision, Approach, and Roadmap definition to differentiate Axos from the Market and drive business results
Industry Expertise: Competitive Analysis/benchmarking and Industry Trends documentation to proactively identify new product opportunities and innovation to meet customer needs
Presentation Capabilities: Engagement with senior execs (SVP, EVP, CEO) align product roadmaps with business needs and strategy
Execution: Lead large-scale platform initiatives that drive measurable customer impact by collaborating with stakeholders from the Business Units, UI/UX, Technology, and Operations to identify optimal solutions to complex problems
Delivery: Drive GTM execution through cross-functional dependency alignment (Marketing, Sales, Operations, etc.)
Coordination: Regular communication with other product team members and business stakeholders to ensure product alignment across functional areas and business lines
Experimentation: A/B testing of solution alternatives to continuously learn and optimize KPI
Ownership: Review and manage product reporting (adoption, usage, funnel conversion, etc.) to consistently evaluate and refine product area functionality
Vendor Management: Vendor / Partnership relationship, Build vs. Buy Analysis, ROI modeling
Team Management: Oversee multiple VPs and ensure functional alignment. Responsible for talent development, succession planning, and performance management
Efficiency: Leverage AI in all processes to efficiently deliver work
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher
5+ years of product management, consulting, or related experience
3+ years of product leadership or related management experience
Experience in Digital lending experiences, fintechs, and/or other related industry experience
Experience working with geographically diverse teams
Experience integrating AI capabilities into a D2C product experience
Product based experience demonstrating key feature ownership and KPI accountability
Demonstrated ability to lead a diverse team by example, establishing processes, guiding best practices, and developing team member skills
Analytics and reporting experience using tools like Tableau, Pendo, etc.

Ability to generate a product vision and define a path to success
Deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
Emotional intelligence to effectively manage cross functional project teams
Individual with a genuine passion for solving customer problems and building digital experiences
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Ability to adapt quickly and reprioritize to match shifting priorities
Exceptional work ethic; proactively and energetically drives desired outcomes
Proven ability to “manage up” and promote accountability
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both technical and non-technical
Demonstrable track record of achieving the outcomes above in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
