SALARY: $25/hour, bonus eligible
SHIFT:
Ability to work required schedule deemed necessary to meet the production goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
Schedule may fluctuate and overtime may be required based on the needs of the business, seasonality, and staffing requirements.
Shifts include:
6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

ROLE SUMMARY:
At Goose Island, our Warehouse team efficiently and safely executes the loading, unloading, and staging of company products while maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards. The successful candidate will safely inspect and operate forklift equipment, foster a risk-free and compliant working environment, and collaborate effectively within a team structure to meet established performance indicators (KPIs) and operational goals.
JOB RESPONSIBILITES:
Inspect forklifts before each shift and report maintenance issues.
Check in drivers for appointments and enforce safety policy adherence.
Move finished products and raw materials to designated storage locations.
Pick shipments for domestic and international shipments while ensuring load integrity and accuracy.
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently while meeting shipping schedules and following food & safety guidelines.
Process and prepare UPS and FedEx parcel shipments.
Preparing shipping labels, bills of lading, and pick lists for outbound freight.
Accurately inspect inbound materials and accurately receive in inventory management system.
Effective inventory management through FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First Expiry First Out) principles.
Complete daily, weekly, monthly inventory cycle counting.
Report timely on any safety or quality incidents.
Adherence to all applicable OSHA regulations, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and company safety policies.
Keep warehouse organized and clean to 5S standards through adherence to Master Sanitation program.
Execute allergen segregation rules to prevent cross-contamination of ingredients.
Follow BRCGS standards (blocking product, HACCP, VACCP & TACCP, glass control and, site security, etc).

Physical Requirements
Conducts work in a standing and sitting position primarily, however, job requires frequent standing, walking, stooping, bending, and lifting.
Ability to perform repetitive duties of standard work efficiently and accurately.
Ability to lift 60 lbs. unassisted.
Work in refrigerated environment.
Move full kegs (150lbs) with appropriate equipment or team lift on occasion.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
Hands-on experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Excellent math and counting skills required.
Basic computer competency (Microsoft Office Suite).
Excellent communication skills .
