About the Role
Verkada is looking for a Product Marketing Manager for Workplace, our product that seamlessly integrates visitor management, operational logistics, and crisis response into daily operations. As the Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing new launches and GTM initiatives and ensuring their success in the market. In addition to leading launches, you will be integral in creating the collateral needed to enable our Sales, Demand Generation, and Channel Marketing teams to win. This role is highly cross-functional and will bring together stakeholders across the Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing organizations to drive business results. This role will report into our Associate Director of Product Marketing.
We are committed to a thriving in-office culture. This role requires that you be on-site at our HQ in San Mateo, CA 5 days a week.
What You’ll Do
- Bring new products to market by taking the lead on launches - planning and creating/managing deliverables in order to maximize impact.
- Develop competitively differentiated messaging and positioning for a product based on user research, market insights, and product knowledge.
- Partner with Product Management counterparts to set a go-to-market plan, including target markets, bill of materials, and an activation strategy.
- Work closely with Creative, Demand Generation and Channel Marketing teams to increase market presence and drive pipeline through key outbound assets (video, webinars, thought leadership, email nurture, etc).
- Partner with the Sales team to understand how your products and messaging are resonating with customers and develop sales collateral to improve win rates.
- Become a product subject matter expert, evangelist and cross-functional leader who unites Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to drive business results.
- Experience enabling and motivating sales teams to effectively position and sell products
What You Bring
- 2–4 years of experience in product marketing in a B2B tech environment; OR recently completed MBA with a strong interest in transitioning into product marketing
- Experience working cross-functionally with teams including Product, Engineering, Sales, Creative, and Marketing
- Strong ability to write for various audiences, including technical content
- Ability to help drive creative and content efforts across the marketing organization

Annual Pay Range
At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs)
Below is the annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable).
