Labcorp is seeking a Material Handler to join our team in Santa Fe, NM.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday - 8:00 am 5:00 pm. Overtime required based on business needs.
Job Responsibilities:
Place orders for supplies from vendors via computer and telephone
Load and unload supplies from trucks and verify packing slips
Receive and process stock into inventory management system
Process orders from client offices and patient service centers via phone, fax and email
Print requisition forms and barcode labels for internal and external clients
Pack orders for shipment via various shipping methods such as Fed Ex & UPS
Resolve all customer concerns efficiently and timely
Maintain inventory control according to company standards
Participate in scheduled cycle counts and full physical inventory
Deliver supplies to local branches, clients and patient service centers when needed
Minimum Qualification:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
One year or more of experience in inventory management, and facilities support, including inventory control, shipping and receiving, supply distribution, vendor coordination, and facility operations.
Preferred Qualification:
Current or prior Labcorp experience
One year or more of experience shipping and receiving materials using carriers such as FedEx, UPS, or similar logistics systems.
One year or more of experience receiving, stocking, tracking, and distributing inventory in a fast-paced operational environment.
One year or more of experience managing inventory for laboratory, healthcare, manufacturing, or regulated environments.
One year or more of experience working with facility vendors and contractors, including providing site access, communicating work expectations, and monitoring service completion
Additional Job Standards:
Knowledge of inventory control and cycle counts
Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
Strong verbal communication skills
High level of attention to detail
Able to pass a standardized color-blind test
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Able to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to facility-related issues outside of normal business hours when required.

Pay Range: $20 - 22/hr.
$1,000.00 SIGN-ON BONUS (external candidates only)
Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
