The role:

JLL is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Director to lead the commercial, financial, and governance performance of multiple client accounts within our Work Dynamics business. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will deliver strategic financial leadership, operational excellence, and trusted business partnership to both clients and JLL leadership teams.

As a key member of account leadership teams, you will drive commercial results, ensure rigorous financial governance, and foster continuous improvement across finance operations. This role offers the opportunity to shape financial strategy, build high-performing teams, and deliver measurable value in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial Leadership

  • Manage and maximize commercial results across multiple client accounts
  • Oversee Master Services Agreements, contract price variations, and contractual pricing adjustments
  • Drive account-wide operational efficiency and effectiveness as a member of account leadership teams
  • Manage savings commitments and ensure contract variations are accurately priced, documented, and approved
  • Own finance-related contract KPIs to minimize commercial impact

Financial Governance & Controls

  • Provide comprehensive financial services focused on quality, continuous improvement, governance, and best practice
  • Manage corporate month-end, forecasting, and budgeting processes with associated reporting
  • Oversee finance team operations, ensuring robust accounting controls, accurate reporting, and process excellence
  • Ensure data integrity across finance systems (JD Edwards) and operational platforms (CAAPs, Corrigo, etc.)
  • Meet all audit requirements and actively contribute to peer review processes across accounts

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain trusted client finance relationships with a partnering approach
  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting and client interfaces
  • Support achievement of all relevant KPIs and maintain client satisfaction above "Satisfactory" benchmarks
  • Contribute to positive annual client performance evaluations

Team Leadership & Development

  • Provide effective leadership and direction to JLL finance teams
  • Drive capability development and continuous improvement across month-end, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes
  • Oversee Shared Services teams to ensure efficient and accurate operations
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and actively contribute to problem-solving and innovation

Systems, Data & Transformation

  • Support systems implementation and operations to maximize account benefits
  • Advocate for AI adoption to drive finance team productivity efficiencies
  • Ensure seamless integration and data integrity across financial and operational systems
  • Think strategically and innovatively to solve complex problems

Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with legislative requirements and client contractual obligations
  • Maintain strong financial and commercial governance frameworks
  • Manage audit readiness and regulatory compliance across all accounts

What You’ll Bring:

  • Professional Qualification: CA, CPA, or equivalent accounting qualification with a minimum of 10 years' post-qualification experience
  • Financial Leadership: Extensive experience in financial management, commercial governance, and operational finance leadership within complex business environments
  • Contract Management: Demonstrated experience managing financial and commercial aspects of client contracts and service agreements
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across client organizations, senior leadership teams, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with senior leaders to address complex commercial, operational, and strategic challenges
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting financial insights clearly to both finance and non-finance audiences
  • Execution: Capability to manage multiple complex deliverables simultaneously within fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving capability with the ability to identify risks, opportunities, and process improvements
  • Team Leadership: Proven experience leading, developing, and managing high-performing finance teams within a matrixed environment
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and financial reporting tools; strong analytical and systems capability
  • Process Improvement: Experience driving automation, process improvement, and data-led financial reporting initiatives
  • Governance: Strong understanding of financial systems, governance frameworks, audit requirements, and internal controls
