Technical Business Analysis - Professional II

About your role:
You will support software solution delivery at Fiserv by translating business and product needs into clear functional requirements and delivery artifacts. In this role, you will work across product, business, client, and delivery teams to define practical solution designs, maintain user stories and features, and support quality execution through the delivery lifecycle. This is a non-coding role focused on requirements analysis, functional design, and implementation support.

What you’ll do:

• Partner with product, business, client, and delivery teams to gather, clarify, and document functional requirements.
• Create, refine, and maintain features and user stories in Jira with clear descriptions, acceptance criteria, and traceability to supporting requirements.
• Translate validated requirements into functional solution designs aligned to product objectives and delivery needs.
• Develop and maintain use cases, process maps, workflow diagrams, data-flow diagrams, and functional design documentation.
• Support delivery activities through requirement clarification, design walkthroughs, defect analysis, implementation support, and basic testing as required.
• Participate in peer reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams across business, product, and technology functions.
• Identify and communicate requirement gaps, dependencies, and delivery risks with appropriate supporting detail.
• Contribute within Agile delivery teams using standard tools and practices to support quality and timely execution.

Experience you’ll need to have:

• 3+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements analysis, functional solution design, or related software delivery disciplines.
• 3+ years of experience in creating and maintaining features and user stories in Jira.
• 3+ years of experience in documenting acceptance criteria, business requirements, and traceability across delivery artifacts.
• 3+ years of experience in creating use cases, process maps, workflow diagrams, data-flow diagrams, and functional design documentation.
• 3+ years of experience in supporting software delivery activities including defect analysis, implementation support, and basic testing.
• 3+ years of experience in Agile delivery environments using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• 3+ years of experience in requirements-driven solution development considering process, data, technology, and user impacts.
• 3+ years of equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and/or relevant certifications.
• Experience supporting banking, payments, or financial technology solutions.
• Experience working with cross-functional product, development, and testing teams in Agile environments.
• Experience contributing to client-facing solution delivery or implementation activities.
• Experience facilitating design walkthroughs and stakeholder reviews across multiple teams.
