Job Description Summary:

Rocket Software is seeking a Vice President of Growth Marketing to lead the company’s global growth marketing organization.

This is a highly strategic, commercially focused and AI-forward leadership role responsible for setting Rocket’s growth marketing direction and mobilizing the organization around the highest-value growth opportunities. The Vice President will lead a large, global, multidisciplinary team through strong functional leaders, establish priorities and accountability, and ensure the organization operates as an integrated partner to Sales, Solutions and Customer Marketing, Product, and the executive team..

The successful candidate will bring a sophisticated understanding of how enterprise software is bought and sold. They will provide strategic direction to the ABM leader and align functional leaders across Marketing, Sales, and Product around priority buyers, personas, accounts, and coordinated go-to-market action.

This leader will serve as a senior strategic partner to Sales, Revenue Operations, Product, Customer Success, regional marketing teams, the executive team, and channel and technology partners. They will sponsor and lead high-priority cross-functional initiatives that increase pipeline, accelerate opportunities, support expansion, and grow direct and partner-influenced bookings and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set Rocket Software’s global growth marketing strategy and hold the organization accountable for measurable pipeline, bookings, expansion, and revenue outcomes.
  • Lead a large, global organization spanning account-based marketing, insights, analytics, performance, and marketing technology, leveraging experienced functional leaders.

  • Set enterprise priorities, provide strategic guidance to functional leaders, and focus resources on the highest-value growth opportunities.

  • Oversee an integrated growth operating model with clear goals, decision rights, accountability, and performance measures tied to commercial outcomes.

  • Advise the executive team on market opportunities, buyer behavior, growth investments, go-to-market priorities, and performance.

  • Develop, empower, and hold accountable strong functional leaders, while building a collaborative global organization with shared commercial accountability.

  • Position Growth Marketing as a core part of Rocket’s revenue engine, partnering across the organization to activate repeatable go-to-market plays that drive bookings.

  • Partner with the global ABM leader to set ABM and go-to-market direction, define repeatable motions for deal acceleration, and connect account-based programs to Rocket’s growth agenda.
  • Partner with the ABM leader and the leader of Solutions and Customer Marketing on ideal customer profile (ICP), segmentation, and persona development, and on the activation of priority growth plays with Sales and Product.

  • Ensure ABM strategy is grounded in account potential, buyer needs, relationship intelligence, engagement signals, and commercial priorities.

  • Bring a clear, integrated view of what is driving growth to Marketing, Sales, and the executive team, and recommend how to optimize strategy, investment, and execution.

  • Use performance, buyer, and account insights to identify opportunities, diagnose gaps, and guide how Marketing and Sales improve pipeline creation, opportunity progression, and expansion.

  • Build trusted relationships across Sales, Marketing, Product, and the executive team through shared planning, transparent performance discussions, and accountability.

  • Sponsor high-priority cross-functional initiatives with Sales, Product, Solutions and Customer Marketing, Revenue Operations, and other leaders to address growth opportunities and remove barriers to execution.
  • Lead strategic projects that require executive alignment, coordinated decision-making, and action across multiple functions.

  • Represent Growth Marketing with the executive team, bringing clear recommendations, investment choices, performance insights, and an enterprise perspective.

  • Set the vision for an AI-forward Growth Marketing organization and champion adoption across teams, leaders, and ways of working.
  • Partner with the Marketing AI Center of Excellence and functional leaders to drive enablement, build AI into go-to-market solutions and workflows, and scale the highest-value use cases.

  • Bring practical experience working with AI agents and provide strategic direction for how agents are incorporated into the marketing operating model with appropriate human oversight, governance, and accountability.

  • Guide how AI is used to strengthen buyer and account intelligence, segmentation, personalization, campaign activation, performance insights, and cross-functional coordination.

  • Establish clear measures for AI adoption and business impact, and use results to determine which capabilities should be scaled, refined, or discontinued.

  • Provide strategic direction for insights, analytics, and performance measurement, with executive oversight of marketing technology.
  • Ensure MarTech, data, and insights investments support ABM, buyer engagement, measurement, and revenue priorities.

  • Ensure leaders deliver an integrated view of account engagement, pipeline progression, marketing contribution, and revenue impact to guide investment and resource decisions.

Required Qualifications

  • 15 or more years of progressive B2B marketing experience, including significant senior leadership responsibility.

  • Demonstrated success leading a large, complex, global growth, demand, revenue, or integrated marketing organization through experienced functional leaders.

  • Deep understanding of complex enterprise buying decisions, buying committees, account development, and long sales cycles.

  • Proven experience setting go-to-market strategy and leading cross-functional growth initiatives across Marketing, Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations.

  • Strong experience providing strategic direction to ABM leaders and building productive executive partnerships with Sales.

  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence enterprise buyers and senior internal stakeholders.

  • Experience setting strategic direction across analytics, insights, and performance measurement, with the ability to provide effective executive oversight of MarTech strategy and investment.

  • Demonstrated experience applying AI in marketing, including working with AI agents and leading enablement, adoption, or operating-model change.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a large, globally distributed organization through senior functional leaders and create alignment across specialized teams.
