RESPONSIBILITIES
◆ Engineering Solutions Design
Lead the design of SCADA and RTU engineering solutions; design the feasibility testing approach and supervise its implementation to support the development and validation of SCADA and RTU engineering solutions.
◆ System Architecture & Design
Build scalable SCADA layouts, HMI graphics philosophies, alarm management strategies, and database links. Deep understanding of technical documentation such as P&IDs, FLDs, Logic Diagrams, C&E matrices etc.
◆ Team Leadership & Governance
Direct engineering teams, mentor junior staff, and set coding and technical standards across multiple sites. Review and validation of design inputs and identify discrepancies to stakeholders for corrective actions.
◆ Engineering Standards Specification
Contribute to the analysis of information, the drafting of engineering standards and specifications, and the evaluation of the effectiveness of those standards within own engineering discipline to inform engineering work in the organization and/or of its suppliers, contractors, and consultants.
◆ Engineering Inspections
Carry out inspections with customers to evaluate the quality of engineering works and/or the integrity of existing installations or structures and make recommendations on the remedial works needed to ensure conformance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
◆ Needs Assessment
Proactively explore issues or needs, establishing potential causes and barriers as well as related issues
◆ Contract Management
Support Project and Control Managers to deliver required outcomes by regularly managing relationships with contract service providers, while working within an established contract management plan.
◆ Knowledge Management System
Work within established knowledge management systems to ensure lessons learnt on previous executions are implemented.

Works independently and provides technical guidance when required on testing, evaluating and improving engineering outcomes.

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Automation
Experience
12+ years of experience (with minimum of 3 years in a senior/lead position) working in industrial automation, PLCs, HMIs, and large-scale SCADA packages (preferably Yokogawa CI Server, FAST/TOOLS and STARDOM).
