Safety Manager – Surface Mining Company
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager to lead our safety initiatives and ensure a secure working environment across our surface mining operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety policies and procedures tailored to surface mining activities.

- Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and documentation for regulatory compliance and internal review.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for safety inspections and regulatory agencies.

Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in safety management within the surface mining or heavy industrial sector.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, MSHA standards, and other relevant safety legislation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively train and influence employees at all levels.
- Ability to conduct thorough safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) training.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and respond effectively to safety concerns.
