We are looking for a talented Algorithm Research Engineer with a strong mathematical and analytical background to join our 3D Metrology Algorithms team. Our group is focused on developing innovative algorithms for semiconductor metrology applications, combining advanced research in computer vision, machine learning, signal processing, and physics-based modeling to solve complex real-world challenges.

What You'll Be Doing
- Research, design, and develop advanced algorithms for 3D metrology applications.
- Develop and implement solutions in the fields of Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and 3D structure deconvolution.
- Build statistical and probabilistic models, including performance analysis and error-bounds estimation.
- Analyze complex datasets and signals to improve measurement accuracy and robustness.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including physicists, system engineers, and software developers.
- Drive algorithm research from concept to implementation and validation.
What You Should Have
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Experience in Computer Vision, including image registration and segmentation.
- Solid background in Signal Processing and Estimation Theory, including statistical modeling and Maximum Likelihood estimation.
- Experience with Machine Learning algorithms, optimization techniques, and performance analysis.
- Strong programming and algorithm development capabilities.
- Fast learner with a research-oriented mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience with SEM imaging and semiconductor metrology applications is an advantage.
