The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for leading manufacturing operators and supporting training cohorts during plant startup, knowledge transfer, and operational ramp-up activities. This role provides day-to-day supervision of production personnel while ensuring workforce readiness, operational performance, and employee support.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Lead and supervise manufacturing operators and production personnel.
Manage shift scheduling and manpower planning.
Monitor daily production targets and operational performance.
Track, report, and escalate manufacturing KPIs as required.
Coordinate resource loading and workforce planning activities.
Support conflict management and employee relations matters.
Coach and develop operators to support operational readiness and performance.
Support training cohorts and knowledge transfer activities during startup and ramp-up.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
At least 5 years of prior supervisory experience as Line Lead
Experience managing operators or manufacturing teams.
Experience with shift scheduling and manpower planning.
Experience supporting training activities and workforce development.
Familiarity with manufacturing KPIs and operational reporting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to travel internationally as required.
Nice to Have
Experience supporting plant startup, knowledge transfer, or operational ramp-up activities.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment with growing team structures.
