Overview
As a Functional / Technical Lead within Private Bank Technology, you will play a critical role in shaping and supporting the digital platforms that power the client and banker experience. You will partner closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and technology professionals to deliver innovative solutions across online banking, client onboarding, lending, investment, and relationship management platforms. In this role, you will help drive the evolution of digital banking capabilities while ensuring applications remain stable, secure, and aligned with business and regulatory requirements. What You’ll Do
Lead the delivery, support, and continuous enhancement of digital banking applications supporting clients, relationship managers, lending teams, and operations partners
Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define solution designs, and translate business needs into actionable technology deliverables
Drive strategic initiatives across online banking, client portals, onboarding solutions, banker desktop platforms, and customer relationship management applications
Manage application integrations, testing activities, release cycles, and production deployments to ensure application stability and performance
Analyze production issues, identify root causes, and coordinate resolution efforts while maintaining a strong focus on operational excellence and risk management
Support modernization initiatives by collaborating with technology teams on cloud adoption, digital transformation, and platform evolution efforts
How You’ll Lead

Skills You’ll Need
Proven experience supporting digital banking, wealth management, or private banking technology platforms
Strong experience with application integration, API-based solutions, and system design
Hands-on experience with software development lifecycle, testing, release management, and production support processes
Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and translating business requirements into technology solutions
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Experience supporting online banking, client portal, banker desktop, or customer relationship management platforms
Knowledge of client onboarding, deposits, lending, investment, and advisory business processes
Familiarity with cloud technologies and modern digital architecture concepts
Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
Experience working within Agile delivery environments
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $125,000 to $222,500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
