Aerospace Technician (FPI Inspector)

We are looking for a detail-oriented FPI Technician to perform Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection on aircraft engine components and ensure parts meet strict aerospace quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) on aircraft engine components according to process travellers and operation sheets.
• Review test orders to identify required test methods, procedures and acceptance criteria.
• Prepare components for inspection by applying cleaners, penetrants, developers and other required agents.
• Inspect parts to identify and assess surface discontinuities.
• Follow approved NDT procedures, work instructions and quality requirements.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and production documentation.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the work area and on equipment.
• Comply with company, quality and workplace safety requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• GCE O-Level / NITEC / Higher NITEC / Technical Certificate or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in NDT, FPI, inspection or aerospace manufacturing preferred.
• Able to read and understand process travellers, operation sheets and technical instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and good visual inspection skills.
• Able to follow procedures accurately and work independently.
• Safety-conscious, disciplined and quality-oriented.
• Comfortable working in a production/manufacturing environment.
