Responsible for managing the lifecycle of assigned part types, including technology transfers Technology transfer (between Taiwan and Virginia fabs), yield ramp, and process optimization. Conduct yield performance analysis and conduct yield variation analysis, understand top issues and any yield gap to business plan, point engineering teams to in the right direction to focus on for overall yield program improvement. Drive technology transfers and ensure alignment between sending and receiving high-volume manufacturing sites. Able to report yield metrics in various platforms. Able to source yield variations causes, and identify actions needed to resolve. Able to collaborate with other teams and work out the corrective and preventive actions on top yield loss paretos and factor into yield projection. Coordinate Technology transfer Nodes and Design ID Framework setup. Including but not limited to Design ID setup, process flow (traveler) setup and other related system setup (Q-time, SPC, GeRM, N2, LMS, attributes etc.) Coordinates targeting plan for lead lots. Supervise critical lead lots progress inline. Ramp-up collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive yield and quality improvements. Works closely with PEE, RDA, Metro, Change Control and QA teams to ensure smooth transfer and quality control. Driving conversion catch-up yield across Design IDs and coordinating cross-fab inline matching are. Develop and implement plans aiming to shorten yield learning cycle. Participates in PCRB meetings, SWAT conversions, and training workshops to align on business processes and technical standards. Collaborate with IT/SMAI to develop/improve yield monitoring and forecast systems improvements. Collaborate with central teams to define and refine business processes. Analyze probe bin failures, inline data, and defect pareto to identify root causes and corrective actions. Develops and shares lessons learned, process flows, and risk assessments for new part types. Able to contribute to business travel internationally or domestically with short notice. Position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel.

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Science, Materials Science or related field and 24 months of experience in experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

Position requires:

1\. Semiconductor process flow

2\. Semiconductor inline data and electrical data

3\. Apply data analysis techniques to manufacturing and test data, including the use of statistical methods such as t-tests and distribution comparisons

4\. Analyzing correlations between electrical test results and in-line process or metrology measurements

5\. Conversion reports and deviation assessments

6\. Fab operations, including engineering workflows and business processes

7\. Drive CIP and lead technical conversions to improve Yield, Quality, and Cycle Time

The US base salary range that Micron Technology, Inc. estimates it could pay for this full-time position is $153,379.73 - $210,000.00. For additional pay & benefits information, please refer to the requisition at Micron.com/careers.
