The Opportunity

Ambassador – Molecular Diagnostics
📍 Limpopo/Mpumalanga, South Africa ( must be based in Either )

We are looking for a commercially driven sales professional to grow Abbott's Molecular Diagnostics business across Limpopo and Mpumalanga. The successful candidate will build strong customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and drive revenue growth while partnering with healthcare professionals and laboratories.

What You'll Work On

• Drive sales growth and achieve territory targets.
• Develop new business across public and private healthcare sectors.
• Manage key customer relationships and strategic accounts.
• Support tenders, contract negotiations, and renewals.
• Deliver product education and customer support.
• Partner with distributors and internal teams to ensure business success.
• Drive menu expansion and customer retention initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Science, Medical Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in diagnostics, medical devices, laboratory medicine, or a related healthcare industry.
• At least 1-2 years' proven track record of achieving commercial and sales targets.
• Experience in distributor management and business development.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
