What You’ll Do:
- Smile, greet, and model Vallarta’s Nuestra CASA pledge of extraordinary customer service.
- Lead, coach, and mentor Front-End Leads and Booth Administrators to build high-performing, customer-focused teams.
- Manage cashier scheduling, coverage, and operations to ensure efficiency.
- Oversee cash handling accuracy, transaction compliance, and drawer balancing.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and company requirements (OSHA, Health Department, ABC, WIC, SNAP, LEAD testing, etc.).
- Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and urgency.
- Conduct audits and review metrics to implement service and compliance improvements.
- Oversee and deliver training programs for Front-End and Booth staff.
- Support merchandising by ensuring Sabores Demonstrators follow company strategies.
- Collaborate with Store Director, HR, and corporate leaders to drive company initiatives.
- Perform cashier or front-end duties during peak periods.
- Complete reports and communications accurately and on time.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Stand and walk constantly (6–8 hours/day).
- Frequently bend neck/waist, squat, twist, and reach above/below shoulders.
- Frequent hand use for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.
- Lift and carry up to 10 lbs. frequently and up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
- Heaviest item required to carry: 27 lbs. (one case of water), up to 3 feet.
- No driving, machinery use, uneven ground, or exposure to dust, fumes, or extreme conditions required.
- At least 1 year of supervisory or training experience in retail or supermarket front-end operations.
- Proven ability to coach, train, and inspire high-performing teams.
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of front-end operations, compliance, and safety standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to pass a criminal and credit check.
- Willingness to transfer to other store locations as needed.
- Fast-paced retail setting with direct customer interaction.
- Exposure to perishable products and changing conditions.
- Collaborative, team-oriented workplace.
- Must work flexible schedule: afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
