About the Role
Our client is looking to hire an accomplished, client-facing AWS Cloud Architect to lead the design, implementation, and delivery of AWS customer projects.
You will be a key technical leader across cloud migration, modernization, and DevOps initiatives—guiding customer conversations, designing high-impact solutions and proofs of concept, and staying hands-on throughout project execution.
What You’ll Do
- Lead technical discussions with customers and present AWS solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
- Design and implement cloud architectures for migration, modernization, and DevOps projects.
- Support project planning by partnering with Project Managers to define backlogs and roadmaps.
- Serve as the technical escalation point for complex issues during delivery.
- Lead AWS migration initiatives from on-premise environments to AWS.
- Build innovative proof-of-concepts and contribute to the company’s technical strategy.
- Mentor team members on AWS services, cloud migration strategies, and technical best practices.
- Remain hands-on through the full project lifecycle, from solution design through implementation.
- Stay current on AWS services, DevOps tools, and emerging technologies.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong hands-on AWS expertise, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, EKS, and ECS.
- Proven experience leading successful AWS migration and modernization projects.
- Strong DevOps experience, including Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, AWS CodeSuite, or CircleCI.
- Hands-on Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
- Solid understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Excellent troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain and demo technical solutions to clients.
- AWS Professional and Specialty certifications are highly valued.
- Experience with Data, Machine Learning, AI, or open-source tools is a plus.
- Advanced English communication skills.
