The role  

As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Technical Lead, you are passionate about experience innovation and eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You bring  6+ YEARS of experience, a growth mindset and a drive to make a lasting impact.

• Experienced in Agile methodologies and consulting (a plus) 

Key Responsibilities 

Define and own the target SFMC data model, journey/automation architecture and multi-locale governance model 

Translate roadmap items (new channels such as WhatsApp/Kakao/LINE, personalization, campaign management enhancements) into technical solution designs 

Lead and review AMPscript/SSJS, SQL query activities, Automation Studio and Journey Builder development delivered by SFMC developers 

Own integration design between SFMC and Core/Commerce platforms (MC Connect, REST/SOAP APIs, Boomi/MuleSoft) for contact and transactional data synchronization 

Produce and validate technical estimates and impact analyses for evolutions, including deliverability, compliance and multi-market considerations 

Own environment strategy: business unit management, sending domain/IP reputation strategy and testing/staging processes 

Perform code/design reviews before releases; ensure data privacy (GDPR, consent management) is respected in journeys and data extensions 

Mentor developers and contribute to Division-level design authority and technical communities 

Provide technical leadership during peak marketing periods (major campaigns, product launches, seasonal events) 

Required Skills & Experience 

Strong hands-on architecture and development experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud: Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email/Mobile Studio, Contact Builder/Data Extensions 

Expert-level AMPscript, SSJS and SQL for data extension queries and personalization 

Experience designing integrations between SFMC and CRM/Commerce platforms (MC Connect, REST/SOAP APIs, iPaaS) 

Strong understanding of email deliverability, sending infrastructure and marketing compliance (GDPR, CAN-SPAM) 

Experience leading technical teams across multi-market marketing operations 

Ability to produce clear technical specifications, estimates and architecture documentation 

Excellent English communication skills; French or Italian an advantage 

Preferred / Nice to Have 

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer or Consultant certification 

Experience with additional messaging channels (WhatsApp, KakaoTalk, LINE) 

Experience supporting multi-market, multi-language marketing operations
