ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execution of the Planned and Preventative Maintenance schedule.
- Responsible for Troubleshooting by Applying Critical Thinking skills to Identify, Diagnose and Repair equipment problems.
- Must be able to Analyze and Understand Blueprints, Schematics, Layout plans and other materials.
- Demonstrated Knowledge and Skills in Hydraulics, Lubrication, and Mechanical equipment; basic understanding of types of lubricants and application of each.
- Ensure all work is performed in a timely and safe manner.
- Maintain all equipment, tools, and workstations.
- Ability to utilize skills to Improve equipment Optimization and Reliability.
- Maintain logs, and record labor, materials and equipment used.
- Effectively Communicate to all Team Members and Management any equipment deficiencies.
- Meticulous Attention to detail; able to follow instruction both written and verbal.
- Participating in Breakdown Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, Focused Improvement, and 5S projects.
- Ensure workers adhere to Local, State and Federal Codes and Regulations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent education; trade school or college preferred.
- Minimum 3 years relevant work experience as a Millwright/Industrial Mechanic required.
- One year of In Plant Manufacturing Experience.
- Ability to work Independently and Utilize Critical Problem Solving and Decision-Making skills to Generate and Implement Solutions throughout the Process.
- Must maintain Compliance within all LOTO, Confined Space, Hot Work, Working at Heights Policies.
- OSHA 10 Training and Experience.
- Experience of MiG and stick welding.
- Exceptional Mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist in all tasks, jobs, and repairs.
- Ability to work extended hours to includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work at heights in excess of 80 feet, use man lifts, and work in confined spaces.
- Ability to work outdoors, rotating shifts, and lift 50 pounds required.
