HR TrainerPosition Overview
We're looking for an enthusiastic HR Trainer who is passionate about developing people, delivering engaging learning experiences, and helping employees succeed from day one.
In this role, you'll serve as a key partner in onboarding, training, and workforce development for our manufacturing team. You'll collaborate with leaders, supervisors, and HR to ensure associates have the knowledge, skills, and support needed to work safely, efficiently, and confidently.
What You'll Do
- Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding programs that set associates up for success.
- Deliver engaging instructor-led training on safety, HR, operational, and company-related topics.
- Partner with supervisors and on-the-job trainers to support employee development and training effectiveness across all shifts.
- Evaluate training progress, answer questions, provide coaching, and help associates transition successfully into their roles.
- Create, update, and continuously improve training materials, programs, and learning resources.
- Serve as a training subject matter expert and trusted resource for hourly associate development.
- Collaborate with operations, supervisors, HR, and leadership teams to identify and address training needs.
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation to support compliance and audit requirements.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition events, and plant-wide communication efforts.
- Provide translation and interpretation support for associates and business communications when needed.
- Stay current on adult learning techniques, training best practices, and workforce development trends.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage groups and individuals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or the ability to quickly learn business software applications.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Flexibility to support training needs across various shifts and schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering training, facilitating workshops, onboarding, or employee development programs.
- Manufacturing, industrial, or operations experience.
- Bilingual English/Spanish with the ability to read, write, translate, and interpret.
- Experience creating or improving training materials and processes.
