YOUR MISSION
- Drive material development from concept through commercialization, ensuring alignment with product, quality, sustainability, and cost requirements.
- Partner with suppliers to identify and develop material solutions that support business and product objectives.
- Manage supplier relationships and evaluate supplier capabilities, performance, and development readiness.
- Proactively identify development risks and implement solutions to support on-time commercialization.
- Collaborate with Design, Product Development and other cross-functional teams to achieve seasonal milestones.
- Review testing, sustainability, and compliance requirements to ensure materials meet company standards.
- Maintain accurate material information within development systems and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
YOUR TALENT
- Diploma/Degree in Textile, Materials, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in material and/or trim development within apparel, accessories, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of material and/ or trim construction, commercialization, testing, and supplier management.
- Ability to independently manage development projects and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin.
