Department Overview
Motorola Solutions Data Protection - Products team is an internal organization that manages the demonstration of compliance to data protection requirements across Motorola Solutions global products and services portfolio. We help Motorola Solutions to demonstrate our commitment to protect privacy and information security in alignment with industry-recognized frameworks, such as ISO 27000, ISO 42001, SOC2, NIST, NIS2, GDPR, and CMMC. Our team works with Motorola Solutions products and services organizations to gather and manage information used to respond to requests for privacy and information security documentation, and to prepare technical teams for audit and certification to applicable frameworks, to meet our customers' needs.
Job Description
The Process Manager/Auditor supports audit activities across the product portfolio to secure compliance certifications and reports. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Data Protection Compliance, this role gathers critical data to drive regulatory adherence. The successful candidate collaborates with product, security, and Enterprise IT teams to collect information essential for maintaining compliance with privacy regulations and safeguarding company and third-party data.
Basic Requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate and support management of audit/certification processes for Motorola Solutions' global products and services.
Facilitate daily compliance operations and assist in integrating new organizations into the relevant compliance programs.
Audit and monitor established controls to ensure regulatory alignment, preparing detailed reports and recommending procedural enhancements.
Develop and standardize compliance program materials, including templates and presentation decks, to ensure program-wide consistency.
Guide product teams in maintaining appropriate records of data protection activities for regulatory or auditor review.
Gather product and engineering metrics to validate ongoing compliance with data protection policies and legal requirements.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the global multi-framework compliance program, leading program meetings, management reviews, and training sessions.
Collaborate on third-party compliance needs
Implement internal training programs as required.
Execute additional privacy-related, auditing, or data protection tasks as directed.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Associate or Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Project Management, Data Processing, Information Security, Data Analysis or other related field (or equivalent experience)
Five (5) years of related work experience, which includes two (2) years of practical experience in compliance activities (Information Security, Privacy, or Audit certification helpful)
Must have a working knowledge of auditing principles and risk assessment processes
Proficient with Google Office suite - Gmail, Chat, Meet, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms
Must be able to effectively communicate with technology professionals; data analysis skills required
Should be familiar with compliance principles and risk assessment processes, privacy and data protection laws, regulations, and best practices
Experience with compliance standards at all levels (local, state, federal, and international) and familiarity with industry-specific frameworks, e.g., CMMC, NIST, ISO 27000, ISO 42001, SOC2, PCI, GDPR, NIS2, HIPAA etc. Familiarity with other ISO standards such as ISO 9000 and ISO 22301 is helpful
CISA, CISM or ISO Auditor certification preferred
Must be willing to achieve ISO 27001 Auditor certification within 12 months of hire if not currently certified.
