We're Hiring: Data Analyst

Location: Johannesburg-Hybrid

Employment Type: Contract role until February 2028

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to support digital transformation initiatives by analysing business processes, reporting requirements, and financial information to deliver meaningful insights and reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis and design phase of digital transformation projects.
• Work with clients to understand current business processes, architecture, and reporting.
• Define future-state reporting and business intelligence requirements.
• Define new application or process requirements where current systems do not meet business needs.
• Facilitate workshops and gather, interpret, document, and present business requirements and solutions.
• Work closely with project management, development, modelling, and BI teams to ensure successful solution implementation.
• Ensure the accuracy of all content delivered within the solution.
• Develop solutions encompassing people, process, and technology.
• Identify implementation risks and challenges.
• Lead and guide the rollout of new technical solutions and changes.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve systems and processes.
• Plan solution enhancements and translate business/system requirements into specifications.
• Build strong customer relationships and deliver projects aligned to customer requirements.
• Work with business, development, and reporting teams to create financial and operational models.
• Conduct detailed analysis of processes, reporting, transactions, and activities.
• Design and implement visual reporting, insights, and analysis of financial and operational information.
• Identify improvements to increase customer return on investment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5–8 years' experience
• Experience working with financial systems and financial system integrations
• Data Warehouse expert
