The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior FP&A Analyst to join a growing international professional services organisation.
Operating within a fast-paced and commercially driven environment, our client provides specialist services to leading financial institutions, investment managers and corporate clients across multiple jurisdictions. As the business continues to grow, they are seeking a commercially minded finance professional who can help drive financial performance, support strategic decision-making and enhance FP&A capability across the organisation.
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping and improving FP&A processes, developing reporting capabilities and driving a more data-led approach to business planning and performance management.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and supporting annual budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes.
- Producing monthly management reporting and delivering insightful variance analysis.
- Identifying key performance drivers, risks and opportunities across the business.
- Developing financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions and business growth.
- Partnering with business leaders to provide financial insight, challenge and decision support.
- Supporting board, executive and senior leadership reporting requirements.
- Delivering scenario analysis to evaluate commercial opportunities and strategic initiatives.
- Driving continuous improvement across FP&A processes, reporting and management information.
- Supporting the development of KPIs, dashboards and performance monitoring tools.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience within FP&A, Commercial Finance, Finance Business Partnering or Financial Controlling.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and management reporting experience.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Ability to translate complex financial information into clear commercial insights.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working within a multinational or complex business environment.
- Fluent English, both written and verbal.
- Exposure to Power BI or other business intelligence tools would be advantageous.
- Experience within a private equity-backed, professional services or high-growth organisation would be beneficial.
