Summary:

The Pricing Coordinator plays a key role on the Merchandising team to ensure accurate and timely product and pricing data management. This position is responsible for supporting and maintaining product setup, price changes and promotional entries within the retail system to support daily store operations. The Pricing Coordinator ensures timely processing of vendor updates, promotions and invoice imports while maintaining data accuracy, system integrity and effective communication of product and pricing updates across retail locations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Enter and maintain accurate product information within the PDI Pricebook system, including item descriptions, product codes, costs and retail pricing.
  • Review and update product data regularly to align with company pricing strategies and margin objectives.
  • Ensure timely and accurate entry of new items, cost changes, and pricing updates received from vendors.
  • Collaborate with vendors to verify cost and retail accuracy within the pricebook system.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve pricebook-related issues, including reviewing internal reports and addressing store-level discrepancies.
  • Communicate sales, promotions and pricing updates to vendors and Store Managers to ensure proper execution.
  • Generate item, retail, authorization and exception reports to support margin and pricing decisions.
  • Assist auditors with retail paperwork audits and related documentation as needed.
  • Support shrink reduction initiatives by identifying discrepancies and assisting in inventory loss prevention efforts.
  • Gain operational insight by spending time periodically in stores to better understand products and retail processes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Company policies, invoice procedures, retail operations and internal communications.
  • Maintain organized records and documentation related to pricebook activities and updates.
  • Communicate effectively with team members in the field and at the Support Center to ensure accuracy and clarity.
  • Protect company assets by maintaining confidentiality of financial, pricing and personnel information.
  • Report any actions or situations that may pose a risk to team members, Guests or company operations.
  • Support and facilitate organizational changes, continuous improvement and communication.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience with retail pricebook systems; PDI/Enterprise pricebook strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; keen attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills, ability to apply critical thinking to identify discrepancies and solve problems using data-driven insights.
  • Requires rapid and thorough decision making and creative problem-solving skills, good judgment as well as the ability to accept personal accountability for areas of responsibility.
  • Acts with integrity and professionalism; demonstrates integrity and maintains strict confidentiality of company, financial, pricing and operational information.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite; intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel preferred.
  • Minimal day travel; operates primarily in a professional office environment.

Education & Experience:

  • High School diploma/GED required.
  • Associate’s degree or higher in Business Administration or related field preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk/hear, push/pull, climb, bend/stoop, crouch/kneel/crawl, taste/smell, balance, twist/reach, carry, grasp with hands, squat, drive and use keyboard. 
  • Lifting Requirements: Lift/pull up to 25lbs regularly, 50lbs on occasion.
  • Hearing Requirements: Ability to hear alarms, communication equipment, verbal instructions and office machinery.
  • Cognitive Requirements: Complex reading, writing and math skills. Basic speech skills; must be able to speak, read, write & understand the English language, clerical tasks, memorization, analytical skills, function under stress & make independent decisions. 
  • Vision Requirements: General vision requirements in addition to close vision (<20 inches), Distance Vision (>20 feet), color vision and peripheral vision.
  • Noise Levels: Normal (<85dB) noise levels.    
  • Repetitive Motion(s): Regularly & repetitively use both feet and both hands.
  • Environmental Factors: General working conditions include an office environment with routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, filing systems and other typical business technology. This position is primarily sedentary and requires prolonged periods of sitting while performance desk-based tasks such as frequent data entry, typing, and consistent use of a computer.
