Job Summary
The Land Tech III is a journey-level contributor within the Land department. This role performs administrative and technical duties associated with general land work, including preparing proposal letters, generating reports, and preparing and maintaining various departmental files. The Land Tech III is fully competent to perform standard job tasks, works under minimal supervision, and supports landmen and other team members with accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate is proficient in Land systems and technology, demonstrates a working knowledge of title ownership and curative documents, and effectively communicates across internal departments to ensure open workflow throughout the company. This position requires flexibility, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare, submit and track proposal letters sent to partners.
- Calculate complex working and net revenue interest ownership in wells.
- Proficient in title ownership and curative documentation.
- Maintains accurate data in land systems to ensure proper reporting to stakeholders.
- Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders in preparation and monitoring of regulatory matters.
- Enter detailed data pertaining to oil and gas contracts and wells into Continental Resources’ systems
- Review, code and route land invoices for approval, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Apply general principle and standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Communicate and correspond with other work disciplines to ensure project execution and collaboration.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma (or GED)
- Minimum of six (6) years of related experience
- An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
