You will be responsible to:

• Organize daily priorities and execute sample analyses accurately and on time to meet laboratory plans and KPI targets;
• Adhere to laboratory testing schedules to ensure an efficient and effective Quality Control system;
• Generate, review, and maintain analytical data in full compliance with GMP, HSE, operating procedures, and industry standards;
• Maintain laboratory records, checklists, and notebooks to GMP standards and in accordance with internal procedures;
• Ensure high standards of laboratory hygiene, housekeeping, and overall QC laboratory compliance;
• Perform routine calibration, preventive and corrective maintenance of laboratory equipment, and manage required consumables and spare parts;
• Identify, report, and support the investigation of deviations, OOS/OOT/atypical results, non-conformances, and QC incidents;
• Communicate effectively with internal departments and support audits using established processes and IT systems;
• Proactively seek information, undertake additional tasks as required, and complete all performance review requirements;
• Conduct all activities safely and in compliance with GMP, legal, environmental, health, and safety regulations, while promoting Hovione processes and good practices.

We are looking to recruit a Candidate:

• Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, Health Sciences, or a related scientific discipline;
• Relevant work experience;
• Proven practical pharmaceutical or related industry experience in a GMP regulated environment;
• Hands-on experience in Analytical Chemistry and quality control testing methodologies;
• Strong knowledge of GMP, GLP, ICH guidelines, and pharmaceutical quality systems;
• Ability and availability to work in shift patterns, as required by business needs;
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and attention to detail;
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken;
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and excellent technical documentation skills.
